Last night around 9pm i started yet another overwhelming project that lasted about 5 hrs. Out of no where i thought "I want a poncho." - and since I'm no good at pattern making i decided to use some other resources. This past weekend i stumbled upon a YSL oversized blazer at a consignment shop in North Carolina ( fyi: North Carolina thrifts are a force to be wrecked with! ) and since an oversized blazer is just simply an over sized blazer: something needed to be done. So, here you have it -my new and improved YSL "Batman" cape. Yup, custom d.i.y by thou. Can you believe the pointed shoulders happened by accident? This inherited 70's sewing machine is changing my wardrobe one day at a time.
